This website was created as part of Lane Education Service District’s Teaching American History Grant Program. Lane County teachers Crystal Barnes, Pam Huling, Lynne Lockhart, Shirley Madathil, and Karen Olsen have collected photographs and video interviews from local historians and residents in celebration of the multicultural pioneers of the region. A virtual map is also available to highlight the voices and places of Historic Eugene.
